This 7 week course is the perfect place for brand new students who are interested in practicing yoga for the first time, as well as for those want to brush up on some basics. No flexibility required! This welcoming and playful class will introduce the foundations and proper alignment of common yoga poses. One-on-one attention will help students find the best modifications and props to support their unique bodies. Basic breathing techniques, simple guided meditations, and restorative postures will also be introduced.
This registered course will be progressive, taking place on Thursday evenings from April 5 to May 10. Afterwards, a continuing foundations class will be open to any students using a drop in, 10-class or unlimited pass!
COST: $80 (+HST) for 7 weeks (January 11 - February 22)

Note that yoga mats are available to use at Peterborough Living Yoga, at no extra charge. Numerous other props are also available at the studio and will be introduced in various classes throughout the series, including blocks, straps, blankets, and bolsters.
